Custom Outdoor Cushions, Pillows & Replacement Slings – Terms and Conditions

Please read before placing your order. By purchasing from Cascadia Outdoor Cushions, a DBA of Cascadia Design Group (“Cascadia,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These policies outline important information regarding custom orders, lead times, fabric selection, returns, warranties, and customer responsibilities.
Because every cushion, pillow, and sling we make is custom-built specifically for you, there are a few important things to review before placing your order.
We strongly recommend confirming all measurements, reviewing cushion styles and options, and ordering fabric samples when color or texture matters. Outdoor fabrics can look different depending on lighting, surroundings, and screen settings, and samples are the best way to ensure you’re selecting exactly what you want.
It’s also important to plan ahead. All products are made to order, and while we provide estimated lead times, production and shipping timelines can vary based on fabric availability and seasonal demand.
Our goal is simple: to create cushions that fit beautifully, perform well, and last. Taking a few extra minutes to review your selections before ordering helps ensure the final product meets your expectations.

All cushions, pillows, and replacement slings are custom-made to order based on your specifications.
Because these products are made specifically for you, they are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable once production has begun.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for:
Verifying all measurements and specifications
Reviewing cushion style, seams, ties, and thickness selections
Ordering fabric samples when color or texture is important
Not relying on old cushions for measurements
Understanding that comfort preferences are subjective
Special-order fabrics are any fabrics not listed as standard selections on the product page.
These fabrics are purchased specifically for your order and are non-returnable and non-refundable under all circumstances.
For COM orders, Cascadia is responsible for cutting and sewing only.
We are not responsible for:
Fabric quality, durability, or performance
Dye lot inconsistencies or defects
Fabric shortages or miscalculations
If replacement fabric is required, it must be provided by the customer at their expense.
Fabric direction, pattern placement, and orientation are determined by the manufacturer based on best practices and material yield.
These variations are not considered defects.
Customers are responsible for reviewing samples and requesting clarification prior to ordering.
All lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Production timing depends on:
Fabric availability
Seasonal demand
Manufacturing schedules
If your order is tied to a specific event or deadline, you must order well in advance.
A quoted lead time (e.g., 4–6 weeks) means your order is expected to ship within that range—not exactly at a specific date.
Shipping time is additional and varies by carrier and location.
Delays may occur due to fabric mill backorders or supply chain issues.
If a selected fabric becomes unavailable, we may:
Offer alternative fabric options
Hold the order until the material becomes available
Orders remain in production until completed.
We do not provide interim updates during this phase, as manufacturers do not provide incremental production status.
You will receive tracking information once your order has shipped.
Cascadia works with multiple manufacturing facilities across the United States.
Orders may be:
Produced at different locations
Shipped separately
Delivered on different dates
Changes or cancellations must be requested within one (1) business day of placing your order.
Once fabric has been allocated, ordered, or cut, the order cannot be changed, canceled, or refunded.
All packages must be inspected upon delivery.
Any shipping damage must be reported within two (2) business days, including:
Photos of the damage
Photos of packaging
Retention of original packaging materials
Failure to report within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
One (1) year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
One (1) year warranty on workmanship. Sling fabrics carry separate manufacturer warranties.

Revolution® – 5 years
Tempotest® – 6 years
Warranty claims are subject to manufacturer terms and do not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Improper care or cleaning
Environmental damage (sun, mildew, chemicals, etc.)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cascadia shall not be liable for:
Measurement errors provided by the customer
Delays caused by fabric suppliers or manufacturers
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of use, inconvenience, or dissatisfaction based on subjective preferences
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Are custom cushions returnable?
No. All custom products are made to order and cannot be returned or refunded.

No. Lead times are estimates and may vary.

No. Shipping time is additional.
Why haven’t I received an update?
Orders remain in production until complete. Updates are sent only when shipped.
Can my order arrive separately?
Yes. Items may ship from different factories.
What if I measured incorrectly?
Customers are responsible for measurements. Corrections are at customer expense.
Should I order fabric samples?
Yes. This is strongly recommended.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Report within 2 business days with photos and packaging.
Is fabric direction a defect?
No. Fabric orientation is determined by the manufacturer.
Can I cancel my order?
Only within one business day and before fabric is cut.
